| 内容記述 | 目 的 本研究は，国際協力活動に貢献する中堅看護職が，国際協力活動に必要なコンピテンシーを獲得した過程を明らかにすることを目的とした． 方 法 研究参加者2名に対して，半構成的面接法にてデータ収集を行った．分析には質的分析方法を用いた． 結 果 国際協力活動中堅看護職がコンピテンシーを獲得する過程において，初めての国際協力活動では，異文化での生活，組織や人間関係の理解に難しさを感じていたが，その困難を克服しようとする前向きな姿がみられた．その後，自己の価値観を変える柔軟性，活動調整能力，人材管理能力，活動を推進するために周囲のサポートを得る能力を獲得していた． さらに，自分自身の行動へ自信をもち，国際協力活動に対する自己の考えを形成しはじめている様子がみられるようになった． 考 察 国際協力活動中堅看護職は，自己管理能力，コミュニケーション能力，マネジメント能力，専門能力のコンピテンシーを段階的に獲得する傾向にある．調査能力，分析能力，国際協力関連の知識，活動地域関連の知識などは，今後の学習，経験より獲得されると考えられる．国際協力活動に貢献する看護職のキャリアアップを支援するためにも，それらの特徴を踏まえた支援システムが必要になるであろう． |

| 内容記述 | Objective The objective of this study was to explain the process of acquiring the necessary competencies in middle-skilled nurses engaged in international cooperation work. Methods Data was collected from two participants using a semi-structured interview. Qualitative study analysis was conducted. Results The first step of the process was identifying difficulties in living among different cultures, and understanding organizational systems and human relations. The nurses spent efforts to overcome these difficulties. After these experiences, they acquired flexibility to change their values, and competency for coordination, human resources management and to organize surrounding support to boost their activities. At the very least, they started to have confidence in their actions and form their own view of international cooperation work. Discussion Middle-skilled nurses tend to acquire competencies of self management, communication, project management and expertise step by step. Competencies regarding conduct of researches and analytical thinking, knowledge of international cooperation and social information in regions might be obtained by current middle-skilled nurses through their future experiences. It is necessary to create a system of career development for nurses engaged in international cooperation work by considering the process with the aforementioned features. |
