| 内容記述 | 本研究は，救命救急センターに勤務する看護師が，緊急入院した重度意識障害患者の家族に，積極的な関わりが必要であると感じ，関わりを持った場面とその実践内容を明らかにすることを目的に，救命救急センターに勤務する臨床経験8～15年の看護師3名に半構成的面接を実施した． 救命救急センターに勤務する看護師が，積極的な関わりを持つ必要であると感じ，関わりを持った場面として，【家族の不安が強い入院時】，【家族が状況を受け入れていないと感じるとき】，【家族がひとりで面会をしているとき】，【患者の回復が期待できない状況になったとき】，【患者が最期の瞬間を迎えるとき】の5つが明らかにされた．これらの場面は，患者の家族が，受け入れ難い現実に直面し，不安を抱え動揺している場面であり，このような家族の状況を捉えた看護師は，家族がその現実を受け入れられるよう，関わりを持っていた |

| 内容記述 | The objective of this study is to elucidate the situations where nurses who worked in an emergency care center determined that constructive care was necessary and what they actually did to provide such care. To gain a better understanding of the necessity for constructive care for the family of a patient with severe consciousness disorder who has undergone emergency admission to hospital, semi-structured interviews were conducted with three nurses who had 8 to 15 years of clinical experience at an emergency care center. The following five situations were identified by these nurses as those where this type of care was necessary and actually took care of the family: [When a patient is admitted to hospital and the family experiences intense anxiety], [When the nurse determines that the family does not accept the situation], [When a family member makes an unaccompanied visit to the patient], [When there is no hope of that the patient will recover], [When the patient is going through their last moments]. In these situations, the family of the patient is confronted by a reality that is difficult to accept and often feels anxious and upset. Nurses who found the family of a patient to be in this circumstance took constructive caring measures to help them accept the reality of the situation. |
