| 内容記述 | 本研究では，小児病棟において看護師が急変した子どもと家族へどのような看護援助を行っているのか，そのかかわりを明らかにするために，看護師5名へインタビューを行った． その結果，1. 子どもの生命力や「生きたい」という気持ちを信じて救命処置に集中した，2.「○○ちゃーん，がんばれー」と意識を取り戻してほしいという思いで声を掛けた，3.子どものベッド周囲を整理整頓したり，頑張っている子どもを応援できるように家族がそばにいて，急変した子どもが頑張れる環境を整えた，4. 子どもが頑張っていることや家族がいなかった間の状況を，家族が動揺しないように，落ち着いた声の調子で伝えていた，ということが明らかとなった． 子どもの急変は看護師が困難を感じる場面となることが先行研究で明らかとされてきたが，本研究において，看護師は救命処置に集中する一方で，必死に声を掛けベッド周囲の環境を整えていたという具体的な看護援助が新たに明らかになった．また，看護師のかかわりは，子どもの生命力や「生きたい」という思いに応えたいという願いが背景にあることが考えられた． |

| 内容記述 | For this research, five nurses were interviewed for the purpose of determining what kind of nursing care had been provided to a child and family on a pediatric ward whose condition had taken a sudden turn for the worse, and clarifying the nature of that care. The research revealed that nurses: 1. Focused intently on providing emergency medical treatment, believing in the child's vitality and will to live; 2. Called out "Hang in there!" with a desire that the child would regain consciousness; 3. Prepared the environment for the child who was undergoing treatment so he/she could overcome the sudden turn for the worse by organizing the child's bedside and providing the environment so that the family could stay by the child's side to extend support; 4. Spoke to the family in a calm voice and manner about how the child has been fighting hard and about the child's condition while the family was not present. Previous studies clarified that nurses had difficulty handling the situation when a child's condition took a sudden turn for the worse. This research clarified anew that while nurses focused intently on giving emergency medical treatment they also provided the specific nursing care of insistently encouraging the child verbally and providing appropriate bedside environment. Also, the nurses' care was considered to be based on the wish to respond to the child's vitality and will to live. |
