The study used a qualitative and descriptive design, and data were collected in semi-structured interviews. For data analysis, interviews were recorded verbatim, and an outline was made of the midwives' views and conditions.\nThe results of the analysis found that midwives value the role of the Handbook. Such aspects as the recording of medical information, providing medical information for mothers and babies, and for mothers to better understand their delivery after it has occurred are clearly explained.\nIn addition, midwives outlined their confused and hesitating reaction about documenting in writing and chose to report verbally regarding mother and baby records.
