Questionnaires were distributed to a total of 171 nurses working at one of ICU certified by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and a total of 79 responses were obtained (response rate, 46.2%), including 77 valid responses (valid response rate, 97.5%). Results showed that 16.9% of ICU continued life-supporting treatments to serious patient in ICU as usually, 81.8% continued sometimes. 1.3% of ICU never continued. 35.1% of ICU changed to with holding from life-supporting treatments to serious patient in ICU as usually, 64.9% changed sometimes. 22.1% of ICU changed to withdrawing from life-supporting treatments to serious patient in ICU as usually, 62.3% changed sometimes. 15.6% of ICU provided actively end-of-life care to patient in ICU as usual, 66.2% provided sometimes. 18.2% of ICU never provided.}, pages = {60--70}, title = {集中治療室における治療の差し控え・中止への治療変更に関する実態調査}, year = {2012} }
