| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to analyze the concepts of the Japanese words taiken, keiken, and seikatsu, and in reference to German phenomenology and hermeneutics to suggest how to use these terms in nursing articles. Using the Simultaneous Concept Analysis method (Hasse, at al., 1992, 2000) on 47 articles of qualitatively-designed studies presented from 1995 to 2005 in the Journal of Japan Academy of Nursing Science, the Journal of Japanese Society of Nursing Research, and the Journal of Japan Academy of Midwifery, we can clarify the characteristics and definitions of these concepts, and the relationship among them. In particular: 1) difficulties arise due to the polysemous (multidimensional) usage of these concepts and the researchers' choice of the appropriate one according to the context in which it is used, 2) many of the critical attributes, antecedents, enablers, and outcomes of each concept coincide, and 3) the concepts are not clearly defined in most articles referred to in this research. It has become clear that it is necessary to ensure the standpoint of researchers and to provide precise definitions of key concepts for their research from a philosophical and historical perspective | |||||||||||
